When will TurboTax be updated for entry of 1099R data? All my income is from 099Rs so having TTax now is worthless.

TurboTax will not be updated until the IRS has finalized and approved all the retirement forms, new for tax year 2020.
Go to this TurboTax support FAQ for IRS forms availability - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/forms/help/irs-forms-availability-table-for-turbotax-individual-pe...
If you are using the TurboTax desktop editions, click on Forms. You can then complete a Form 1099-R even though it will not be available for filing at this time.
That works.
Same issue for me and the explanation sounds fine except that the IRS has finalized and published the 2020 form. See: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099r.pdf
When can we expect to see TurboTax updated?
🙂

The holdup is not the 1099-R form, it is the new 8915-E form (and other 1099-R associated forms) for the CARES act, that is still under development at the IRS so the retirement interview in TurboTax cannot be completed without that form and associated instructions and electronic specifications from the IRS.
Any update as to when the 1099R portion will be working?

What issue are you having? The Form 1099-R section is available and updated with the Covid-19 questions for a distribution.

Unless you are on release r19 or later, it is not up to date.
