How do I enter my 1099-R received from my employer's pension plan.

The software allows only 1099-R issued by financial institutions.

All 1099R's are entered in that same spot.

To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

If your employer doesn't use one of the listed institutions then you have to enter it manually. Click Skip Import at the bottom of that screen. Or maybe in the Online version select Enter a different way.
