1099-r shows distribution funds split out with their respective taxable amounts and income tax withheld. Do I enter each fund separately even though I received one 1099R?

So four different funds, one 1099-R.

Yes.

The taxable amount will be determined by the distribution code in box 7 of form 1099-R and your answers in the TurboTax interview.

If you received one form 1099-R, you should enter that form 1099-R, not the funds individually.

You can enter your form 1099-R by following these steps:

  1. In TurboTax, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Wages & Income on top of the screen
  3. Scroll down and locate the section Retirement Plans and Social Security and click on Show more
  4. Click Start next to IRAs, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).

So would I add up all the funds' gross distributions, fed income withheld and put that in? One fund is checked Taxable amount not determined AND total distribution, other three funds are just checked Taxable amount not determined. 2b on form.
