1099 from Treasury Dept. on Savings BondI I

I received a 1099 (no letter or DIV, INT listed)

It was just a short form for the Savings Bond I  which I had withdrawn in 2024.

There is no distribution code on this form. Do I need one? The Treasury Dept. does not answer calls or questions through the website.

Yeah...that's just a 1099-INT

Enter one manually in the Wages & Income area as a 1099-INT form.

Be sure to type it in manually.

DO NOT attempt to upload it as a PDF or as a picture...the  "AI"   that interprets the form will probably get it all wrong and drive you nuts.
