I’ve been using Turbo Tax for years and this year I elected to have my payment taken from my refund. I was advised that because of this my Stimulus payment may have been rerouted to the bank that is in charge of this first. When I log onto the IRS website it just simply says they cannot give me a status. This is all very confusing. I did not elect to use Turbo Tax card but put my own direct deposit info and I just need to know what’s happening. Getting through to anyone has been a nightmare and any help will be greatly appreciated.

Same here. I not sure what to do ? I hear we have to give the IRS out bank info directly cause if u use an outside company to do taxes they direct payments to them and then send them to your bank account so IRS doesn’t have your bank info only turbo tax does

If you filed a 2019 or 2018 federal tax return and had a federal tax refund and you selected to receive the federal tax refund by Direct Deposit, that information was sent with the federal tax return when you e-filed the federal tax return.
The IRS has your direct deposit information. Period, end of story.
