I have filed with turbotax 2018 and 2019 and i have a turbo card with the app on my phone.  I have not received stimulas and when i check getmypayment it says need more info for direct deposit.  I put in all my information it ask it then says direct deposit info does not match records and cant be changed. What do i need to do...it says im eligible but i cant get a date for check or deposit....help me!

I filed for my STIMULAS CHECK through TurboTax and was approved for 1800$ and I'm yet to get my payment?????? WHERE DID IT GO IT'S NOT ON MY CARD!!?

Here is a link to the TurboTax portal where you can find information about your stimulus check.  You can also get updated information on how you can expect to receive your stimulus payment at IRS Get My Payment

In January 2020, during the distribution of the second round of stimulus payments, an IRS error caused delays in the distribution of some stimulus payments. In an effort to do all that we could to help these customers get the funds they deserved as quickly as possible, we were able to create a secure portal used to update banking information.

Here is what you should expect if you provided information in the secure portal.

  • If you filed your 2020 tax return and it has been processed by the IRS, your stimulus will be sent to the account you provided in that return.
  • If you provided updated banking information via the TurboTax Stimulus Portal for the second stimulus, that information was given to the IRS so they could deposit a third stimulus payment in that account.
  • If a bank account the IRS has on file is closed and your bank rejects the payment, the IRS will either:
  • Deposit your stimulus check into the bank account you entered into the TurboTax portal, or
  • Send your stimulus by check to the address they have on file for you within 14 days.

I SINCERELY APPRECIATE UR ASSISTANCE, YET ALL OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED HAVE BEEN ALREADY DONE, THE IRS SITE, DOESN'T HAVE ANY INFO(WATS SAID) AND UR AGENCY SHOWS ME ONLINE WHERE I'VE BEEN APPROVED AND YET IM STILL LEFT W/THE SAME QUESTION""WHERE'S MY PAYMENT!!"

It's also been over the mentioned time of arrival at address on file, and mine was supposed to go to my card info I submitted??? Just CONFUSED!!!

You are correct, many of our customers are expressing concern over the whereabouts of their stimulus payment.  TurboTax is working with the IRS to update our software to assist customers in changing their information to align with the American Rescue Plan, and to obtain information about outstanding payments.  The information comes from the IRS and we are doing everything we can to streamline it for our customers.

 

The IRS updates its tool to show taxpayers where and how EIP funds will be delivered once they have issued a payment. If you are seeing a status that indicates your payment status is unavailable it means that either the IRS has not yet issued your payment OR you are not eligible for a stimulus payment. Although you may want to check the tool regularly, the payment status is only updated once per day.
