You are correct, many of our customers are expressing concern over the whereabouts of their stimulus payment.  TurboTax is working with the IRS to update our software to assist customers in changing their information to align with the American Rescue Plan, and to obtain information about outstanding payments.  The information comes from the IRS and we are doing everything we can to streamline it for our customers.

 

The IRS updates its tool to show taxpayers where and how EIP funds will be delivered once they have issued a payment. If you are seeing a status that indicates your payment status is unavailable it means that either the IRS has not yet issued your payment OR you are not eligible for a stimulus payment. Although you may want to check the tool regularly, the payment status is only updated once per day.
