@Jalaholmes3 when you filed through TurboTax have you already receive your taxes back and did you have to go on to the IRS website and used get my portal to put in your direct deposit info? I got mine deposited onto my Turbo card this morning
I received my portion of the stimulus check, how ever IAM missing my children's. All under 16. I do not owe anything. So confused on why. Really annoyed 😡
@Patticlark45 are you married? and if I may ask do receive SSI or anything? Could someone else have possibly claimed your kids on taxes or anything else? Just trying to see if I can possibly help you out with an answer
Single head of household. No one but myself claims them. And yes I received SSI. I filled out the form with all my dependents information. I received mine. Just not for the children
What date did you submit info of your kids etc? Was it on non-filer portal? Through the one that turbo tax set up for people to put info on? Did you file taxes for 2019? I've heard through the grapevine that the ones who were on SSI were getting split payments, the parent for their payment and then a second payment just for the children. I will do some digging
Yes I used the tax form made available for non-filers on social security retirement to enter their dependents. TurboTax sent them a 1040-sr form which had all of our information on it. I still have seen no payment for my grandchildren who are both under 17.
I would give it a few days or so like I said I have heard through the grapevine that people have gotten split payments one for themselves Being the adult and then a separate payment for dependents and they came at different times into their account. I know it's weird I have faith you will get it
I have my tax refund set to go to the turbo tax card with the fees coming out. I checked my info on get my payment on April 15 at 8am and was told they needed more info and I needed to enter my DD info. I assumed if it wouldn't go to the turbo tax card to begin with I should probably use another card so I used my checking account Debit card. My status finally updated last Sunday. When I entered my husband's info I got a message saying it would be deposited to the bank account I gave them on April 30.. when I entered in my info it said it would be deposited into a bank account ending in the last 4 digits of my husband's social security number (an account that doesn't exist and definitely not what I entered... Until it updated with a DD date it said the same account # when we used either of our info to log in). Yesterday I just happened to log into the turbo tax card and there was a deposit of $1700 on there (we are supposed to be getting $3400... And it was originally supposed to go on the turbo tax card but they said they didn't have that information so I had to enter an account number and I did NOT enter the turbo tax card number so I have no idea how they just magically got that number and decided to deposit only half of the deposit in there). I also received an email from the bank account I actually used saying I had to send copies of our tax return and both of our IDs (neither of which could be expired) withiin the next 24 hours or our payment would be sent back to the IRS.. Of course my ID expired and there isnt a BMV open for me to be able to get a non expired ID... Which is ridiculous because I didn't have to have an ID to open the account nor did I have to have one to file my taxes. I have no idea how much money they sent to be deposited into that account... But obviously the IRS has messed a lot of **bleep** up... So make sure you check all the accounts you have because like I said half of ours was deposited into an account I didn't even give to the IRS
That's possible but I believe they would need to do some sort of extra vetting before sending payments for dependants that hadn't been claimed on any tax form after 2017. The last time we were required to file was for 2017 so according to the IRS they wouldn't have our current info. I think we got paid from info they received from SSA, not from the TT form. Hopefully we'll get the additional funds but I'm not counting on it.
That's weird to I have file taxes every year with TurboTax and have always gotten a refund advance and paid my taxes out of the refund excetera and I had to go on the IRS portal and put my information in because it said it didn't have enough for us as well and we had the same two kids and filed married jointly for the last 20 some years you are probably correct in thinking that yes they use the info they had from your SSA or whatever but the dependent is supposed to come from the non-filer section through the TurboTax thing or whatever so they are supposed to be different payments so I would give a little bit and wait and see they'll be updates coming up on the non-filers so if I see something I will give a heads up on here
I also received my tax refund on my intuit turbo tax card so when I went to the Get my payment provided by the IRS I entered my turbo tax card provided by green dots routing number & account # it told me that the routing # was not a valid routing # so I entered my direct deposit info from a blue bird Amex card which was accepted, however, my check was mailed to me instead. I was told it would be mailed on April 24, 2020 but I received it on Monday April 28,2020.
I recieved mine the day they first went out and recieved the full 1200.
If you receive SSI and have dependents you go to free E-File for dependents information than you put a checking account to receive there 500 a piece in a checking account will i deceive my payment the same why i receive my SSI on my Direct Express Card and get the dependents in the bank I'm deal confused.
That happened to me as well and all my kids are eligible.
You're not the only one! ! It happened to me as well.
