I have my tax refund set to go to the turbo tax card with the fees coming out. I checked my info on get my payment on April 15 at 8am and was told they needed more info and I needed to enter my DD info. I assumed if it wouldn't go to the turbo tax card to begin with I should probably use another card so I used my checking account Debit card. My status finally updated last Sunday. When I entered my husband's info I got a message saying it would be deposited to the bank account I gave them on April 30.. when I entered in my info it said it would be deposited into a bank account ending in the last 4 digits of my husband's social security number (an account that doesn't exist and definitely not what I entered... Until it updated with a DD date it said the same account # when we used either of our info to log in). Yesterday I just happened to log into the turbo tax card and there was a deposit of $1700 on there (we are supposed to be getting $3400... And it was originally supposed to go on the turbo tax card but they said they didn't have that information so I had to enter an account number and I did NOT enter the turbo tax card number so I have no idea how they just magically got that number and decided to deposit only half of the deposit in there). I also received an email from the bank account I actually used saying I had to send copies of our tax return and both of our IDs (neither of which could be expired) withiin the next 24 hours or our payment would be sent back to the IRS.. Of course my ID expired and there isnt a BMV open for me to be able to get a non expired ID... Which is ridiculous because I didn't have to have an ID to open the account nor did I have to have one to file my taxes. I have no idea how much money they sent to be deposited into that account... But obviously the IRS has messed a lot of **bleep** up... So make sure you check all the accounts you have because like I said half of ours was deposited into an account I didn't even give to the IRS
