First common issue is the DFAS W-2
Edit it back in the Wages&Income area, and on a page AFTER the main form, make sure you check the box indicating it is for active duty military service (many folks miss that checkbox.)
IF there is no active duty W-2 checkbox on that follow-up page (with a whole page of checkboxes), then you may have missed indicating you were in the service in 2023, back when you entered your personal stuff on the My Info page...or indicated you are an officer.
I entered all that info twice hoping it would trigger the discount. Entered all my active duty info. Active duty all year 2023. Enlisted, E-5. Still had to pay to file. A discount was applied but wasn’t free like the last 4 years I’ve filed with them.

Same here. It’s prompting me to pay when in years past it had the price striked out.
If it's still a problem, call Customer Support BEFORE you pay.
Indicate you have a "Billing" issue, then describe the problem to the agent, once you get them on the phone
