Military dependent adult child

My wife and I live in VA but still have TX residency. We claim our daughter as a dependent but she is 20 years old and has a job on campus in Washington DC. I'm struggling with her residency status... Would she be considered a VA resident or TX resident like us?

The residency of a minor child is the same as their parents. The Military Spouses Residency Relief Act doesn't specifically address the residency of a minor child, but the residency of a minor child is tied to their parents residency so she would be considered a resident of TX.
