I’m in the military and don’t have a employer ID number. what do I put?

Use the  same Employer Federal ID number you entered in Box b of Employer Information in the W-2 interview as the Employer State ID number in Box 15 (State) of your W-2.

....is your HOR a non-income-taxing state?  Like TX, SD, WY, AK, FL, NV, or WA ?   (perhaps TN and NH too, but I'm unsure)

 

IF so, leave boxes  15, 16, 17 entirely empty on that state line for that W-2

(or your SLR state if you changed it sometime in the past with a successful  DD2058)
