I have not been in the military service, only my husband has formerly been. So what am I considered?

How do I mark Bonnie's Military Status as of December 31, 2023?

For yourself when asked if you are active duty military answer NO.

If Bonnie is the civilian spouse, you indicate not in service.

Husband "formerly" ?   If he was in during any part of 2023, then you indicate that he was in service...assuming he will get a DFAS W-2 for that service for 2023.  When entering that Military W-2, there is a follow-up page after the main W-2 with a bunch of checkboxes....in the middle is one to indicate the W-2 was for active duty service...that needs to be checked in order to get either Free or discounted use of TTX software.
