Can you please finish your question, it got cut off.
I separated from the military on December 2nd, 2019. Before I separated, I filed my taxes under Texas (my residence before joining the military). My husband is currently active duty, his home residence is South Carolina. Last year we filed under Texas and South Carolina. We live in Oklahoma now (since June, 2019). Since I’m out of the military now, what is the state I choose? Is it Texas, South Carolina, or Oklahoma? Thank you in advanced!
Since you are no longer in the military, you do not maintain your home of record. However, since your husband is in the military you can take his home of record. If you have non military income in Oklahoma, you will have to also file a Non-Resident Oklahoma tax return.
