DOES MISSISSIPPI TAX MILITARY RETIREMENT
When I retired from the military I was a resident of Texas. I have since moved to Mississippi. Do I have to report my 1099-R retirement as Mississippi taxable income?

DOES MISSISSIPPI TAX MILITARY RETIREMENT
Yes, the retirement income will count towards your Mississippi income since you retired from the military and became a Mississippi resident. But, retirement income, pensions, and annuities are not subject to Mississippi Income tax if the recipient has met the retirement plan requirements.
