I moved to FL for the year to help my old neighbor with damage from Hurricane Irma. He hired me as live-in help to help with reconstruction on his property as well as maintaining the house; when I do my taxes, it asks if I ever hired live help, but not if I have been live-in help, and since I was working for him, he paid me $10 an hour and no W-2.
After I've completed my taxes, it said I have $0 income, so I have to mail it in. I wasnt sure if I've messed up, and been trying to make sure I've done my taxes correctly, so I filed for an extension just in case.
Should I just print it put and mail them, or is there something I'm missing.

Florida doesn't have state income tax, so there won't be anything to file for the state. Assuming it is your federal return showing $0, make sure you have entered the total you made as self-employment income in your return. You can take any expenses you have (such as supplies) against this income.
