I inherited money in 2016, and have stocks and investments - do I need the deluxe version? I have a 1099, but I don't know if that makes me Schedule D or not.

The Deluxe version should handle any interest and dividends from the investments, but if you sold anything, you would need Premier for the Schedule D.
