I entered royalty income from 1099 Misc for my rental property but it is not flowing to Schedule E Line 4 for the property. The royalties show on the Schedule E worksheet for Line 4 in the first column, but not in the total column. It won't let me manually enter them on the worksheet or on Schedule E.
How do I get them included in my income? Please be specific.

Please check Schedule E Wks Line 4 second column (percentage). If this column is blank or has a zero, no amount will appear in the Total column. This information can be updated under the Property Profile for this property from your Rental and Royalty Summary page.
If this is not the problem, delete the Royalty property from your Rental and Royalty Summary page and re-enter.
Also note that you can't report both rental income and royalty income under the same property on Schedule E. To resolve this, enter two separate properties (activities) under Rental Properties & Royalties. You can keep the same address, but enter a different property description and be sure you check the box for "Royalty" in the Property Profile section.
I suggest you delete the form 1099-Misc entry and re-enter it as it seems it is not reporting properly.
I did that and got the same result.

I'm having same problem and even tried to do overrides in the worksheets. Then I tried entering as income additional to the 1099-MISC. No matter what you do, it's not calculating. Definitely a bug. I don't know what else to do except do my return manually or buy a different program. Royalty has always been problematic, but this year it's not working at all.
Did you try separating the royalties from the rent - putting them on separate properties even if they are physically from the same property? That worked for me.
