Half my rental income comes from the government, and half from the tenant. Becuase it is a section 8 tenant.
The government sent me a 1099-Misc. Instead of entering this in the 1099-Misc section on turbotax, I would like to enter this in my rental income section, so I can deduct various rental expenses against this. Is this correct?
