Recieved a 1099-Misc from my employer for equipment rental

Please see the directions below to enter your 1099 misc for equipment rental

In TurboTax (TT), enter at:
- Federal Taxes tab (Personal in  Home & Business)

 - Wages & Income

-          “I’ll choose what I work on” Button

Scroll down to:

   - Other Common Income

      -Income from Form 1099-Misc.

After entering the 1099-Misc, select non-business income from the rental of personal property or equipment

This is "non business" income because you are not in the actual  business of renting equipment.
