Where to enter TD Ameritrade loss?

I have two questions:

1) Where do I enter my TD Ameritrade investment loss? I didn't receive any 1099 from them for 2022, because I have no gain, I only have loss this year.

2) To enter the loss, do I use the 'realized loss' or 'unrealized loss'?

Thank you for your time.

You can only deduct losses when you sell or dispose of an investment. If you sold anything, you should get a form 1099-B reporting the sale and you can use that form to report your investment losses.
