The investment sales summary screen cuts in half the "needs review" button and does not display at all the "review" button that I have seen on a friend's Windows version. I use the "continue" button but TT eventually sends me back to this screen to do a review, but still truncates the screen. I have expanded the window to Full Screen but that makes no visible change, still truncating the view at about half the "needs review" button and not showing any "review" button at all. Is this expected? How am I supposed to do the review TT is asking me to do?

At the bottom of the sales summary screen there is probably a scroll bar. Not at the very bottom of the screen but right up under the sales box.
Two days without response to my question so I moved ahead with my return. During the review at the end, TT found "errors" which turned out to be the questions they would have asked about the investment sales. Though I am a "new member" on the community boards I have been using TT for 21 years so know from past experience that these were what the missing review would have asked. I feel confident in the final numbers TT produced and will e-file soon, but am disappointed that Intuit products for Macs, including TT and Quicken, always feel like a half-completed afterthought.

VolvoGirl, thanks for your response. I reopened TT, it applied updates, and I navigated back to the summary screen. I do see the scroll bar you spoke of. I don't know if I just missed it earlier or the update corrected it. The screen no longer has the "needs review" button since I had already answered the questions the review would have asked. Regardless, my friend's Windows version of TT plainly showed the buttons without the need for scrolling. After issues with TT for Mac in previous years I had been using TT for Windows with Boot Camp on my Mac until I replaced it with a new Mac with Apple M1 silicon which could not run Boot Camp. As a result of your response I looked further and discovered that Parallels Desktop will run on an M1 Mac and allow me to run TT for Windows. This is probably what I will do next year.
Thanks again.
I found this on the apple website, as it seems that the default scroll bar setting is to auto-hide. The only way to manually make it scroll is to drag left/right while selecting text. Try changing the Mac defaults (effects TT immediately).

From the Apple menu, select System Settings. Click Appearance. The following screen displays. Set the Show Scroll Bars setting to Always.
Similar, but with screenshots - https://support.wix.com/en/article/mac-users-unable-to-see-scroll-bar-in-the-editor
