How does Turbo Tax know I have K1s? TT says I have three but I have not received anything in the mail. Where did TT get this information?

TurboTax asks about your Schedules K-1 as they have been transferred from your previous tax returns.

 

If you are certain that you will not receive certain schedules K-1 this year, you should delete them.

 

To delete a Schedule K-1, please follow these steps:

 

  1. In TurboTax, open your return
  2. In the left-hand column, locate Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow then click on Tools
  3. On the Tools Center  page, click on Delete a form 
  4. A list of forms will appear. Locate the Schedule K-1 (name of entity) and click Delete next to it.
  5. On the next screen, click Delete Form
**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post
**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
