Issues importing Robinhood 1099

I keep getting the error "Invalid Signon" when trying to import my 1099 from Robinhood. I selected the correct provider "Robinhood - Markets" and input the correct Account ID as well as Document ID from my 1099 and keep getting the error (have tried both copying and pasting from the form itself and typing it in manually). I've never had this happen before. Any real solutions for this?

If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser. Make sure any VPN or Anvi-Virus is turned off.

Issues importing Robinhood 1099

I'm using the Desktop version of TurboTax and I'm getting exactly the same signin error and then after a couple of tries I get an error that there isn't any Tax data to import which is crazy because I'm looking at it...

So far unsuccessful with trying to import.  I have no way of knowing if this is a TurboTax issue or a Robinhood issue...

I have the exact same issue. Two different errors - either "Invalid Signon" or that there is no tax information. Just now, I saw a third error message that says "Your Form 1099 is not yet available for import. 2024 tax documents will be available on04/06/2025." Not sure what to make of it.

It's an issue with 1256 Contracts in my 1099, apparently...

Yeah, I just saw the same 4/6/2025 issue, as well!  Maybe they have figured out the 1256 problem??

Hope it works tomorrow, otherwise it's going to be a pain to enter manually.

I know this is not your problem, but If it doesn't work tomorrow, I'm thinking of modifying the PDF file to remove my 1256 info and at least get the rest of the info imported.  Might work.  Who knows?  LOL

How do you get a pdf to import directly into TurboTax? I see the only option is to connect to Robinhood to get the information.

Issues importing Robinhood 1099

I saw the 1256 issue on Robinhood but that doesn’t apply to me so not sure what’s happening. Haven’t gotten past the invalid signon error.

Been trying to talk to Robinhood support too and they haven’t found an answer. Really dreading potentially having to manually input everything….

Same here - RH support is useless. I saw a TXF import option in TurboTax and asked RH to give me that format but they don't know what it means. I did find a website https://easytxf.com/ that will convert a csv file to txf format and then it can be imported to TT. This will be my last option as I have never done a txf import.

Good point.  I thought there was a way to do that, but I guess I was hallucinating...

I used your EasyTXF suggestion and was able to upload it successfully!  Just had to convert the date columns to real dates...  Thanx for the information!

Please post details on how you converted the date from 20240218 to 02/18/2024 as an example.

Thank you,

=DATEVALUE(MID(D3,5,2)&"/"&RIGHT(D3,2)&"/"&LEFT(D3,4))

Replace D3 with the cell reference you want to convert to a date...
