@zinc2finger No, there is no ETA as of yet, but please keep an eye on the TurboTax Community as updates should come in soon.
Turbotax -- why? Why do things work OK online and not in the desktop version? Could you please address the issue?
Select J.P. Morgan Securities as the Financial Institution and click on get one-time code. After receiving your one-time code enter that along with your Chase bank online username and password which you use to see your Investment account. You will be able to import 1099 forms issued for your Chase Investments right from TurboTax Desktop.
The previous suggestion - Select J.P. Morgan Securities, Click on the "Get Your Identification Code" link at the bottom of the page, then enter your Chase Userid in the space for J.P. Morgan Online User ID, Identification Code you received on your device, and Chase Password in the space for J.P. Morgan Online Password - works like a charm - for the Desktop Version.
For the online version, Chase Bank works without any issues.
I figure Intuit/TurboTax folks will figure this out in a couple of months 🙂
Thanks for sharing the findings! I have requested a refund request.
At what point during the product return process does TurboTax offer a discount for the online service?
There is a chat with an agent option when you fill out online TurboTax where you can request a discount.
It appears it didn't get checking and saving account
Indeed, it did not fetch the 1099-INT even from the brokerage accounts, but that is an easy thing to add manually. The 1099-B (Consolidated) was a pain to enter manually.
Unfortunately your answer is not helpful. TurboTax suggest to get the identification code, via bottom, which not a hyperlink. All google search does not give you a way to get the code? This is a terrible customer experience. Instead of pumping money into Advertisement, first fix the problem.
I'm using Turbo Tax Deluxe on a MacOS Monterey Ver 12.2.1. The "Get Your Identification Code" is not responding. Any thoughts? I've done this in prior years with no problems. Thx.
Please follow the instructions here if you are having trouble importing your 1099.
If you are unable to import still, you can follow the instructions here to enter a large number of stock transactions in Turbo Tax.
If you need additional assistance, please click here to contact customer support.
Your instruction seems to assume online version of TurboTax. The instruction cannot be followed when using CD/download version of TurboTax which has the same problem working with Chase. Why not fix the problem from the root?
See the post from TexanIndian earlier (for desktop/CD version). In addition, If you are not seeing a "Get Your Identification Code" link or if the link does not work, try opening a browser window and go to: https://secure.chase.com/web/auth/?LOB=TurboTaxLogon (it may redirect you but you will eventually see a Chase login prompt which will then you give you options to have the code sent to your mobile device or your email address). Such code needs to be used within 30 minutes. You will also get a subsequent email indicating that your account was linked to import tax forms.
@TaxandGo2022 note there's another thread where a user notes the lack of a hyperlink to get the code, specifically on the Mac OS version of TT:
take a look through the comments, they provide the link that might work for you.
We are still working to resolve this. Please see the Help Article here for more information and you can sign up for updates as well.
