My Turbo Tax is stating that i have to be logged in to an intuit account before i can import for Fidelity or any other financial institution. When i try i am automatically
logged out of Turbo Tax.
Still does not work for me. I am using CD version. Says there is no tax info to import.
Has your issue been resolved. I still cannot import fidelity tax data
No , i spoke to Fidelity and then had rep from Turbo Tax remote into my computer. After some time he told me it was a "glitch" with my computer... Funny i am able to import from other financial institutions as well as Fidelity Net Benefits(retirement) .
Funny how we all have the same "glitch" - more accurately known as "a bug in TurboTax".
Turbo tax scheduled to fix problem 3/3
I am having a similar problem. I am using TurboTax Premier for Mac. I get to the point where I sign into my fidelity account, it connects and then I get an error message that says the import was unsuccessful. No, I do not have more than 10,000 transactions. I do have two consolidated Form 1099's to import. Help Please!
Deluxe download on Mac
Similar to the user above it said I needed to login to TT to import Fidelity Investments. After I logged in into TT and try again it says:
"We found duplicate installations of TurboTax 2022
Either eject your TurboTax 2022 CD or delete duplicate installations of TurboTax 2022 on your computer. Locations are:
/Applications/<name>/TurboTax 2022.app"
For the record, I do NOT have duplicate installations. I successfully imported from Morgan Stanley and American Funds without issue, and I do not get this same error for 'Fidelity Investiments - NetBenefits', although that last one did not successfully import either. See that error below.
Fidelity Investments - NetBenefits error:
"This import was unsuccessful
We recommend you check your internet connection and try again. If we still can't get your info, don't worry. We'll help you enter it manually so you can keep working on your taxes."
Again, no issues with Morgan Stanley or American Funds import, just the two Fidelity. Very annoying.
@CarissaM ... the solution of switching browsers is of no help as I am using Mac download TT Deluxe application. Thanks.
I get the same problem selecting Fidelity (opens intuit login screen thats gets frozen) but when I click Fidelity net benefits I get a login screen with username and password links. It returns the usual errors people are seeing about no tax info present etc.
running desktop turbo tax on surface pro 11
love all the browser suggestions but not helping here

cant get tax info successfully from fidelity
do we use the manual update, no one reports it working!
I had this same issue (was able to get log in screens for all other brokerages except Fidelity where I only got a blank screen) and posted my issue a couple of weeks ago (I didn't know something had already been posted on this subject). I struggled for weeks, switched browsers, uploaded updates and nothing worked until another user (Ron1000) posted the following solution. I kept changing my resolution until I was able to see the the user sign in and password boxes on the Intuit screen. I typed by information in. Even though it didn't display what I was typing, it took the information and then gave me the login boxes so I could sign into Fidelity. Hopefully this will work for you as well. Here is Ron1000's response
I HAVE THE ANSWER....
It's definitely a TT issue and it basically involves the screen resolution and scale. A TT representative gave me the idea of playing with my screen resolution. I usually use a very high resolution so I lowered to 800X600 which created a really large pop-up but it did come through. It still would not allow me to enter the login and password but at least I can see the box. Next I started increasing the resolution to 1280. I then started playing with the scale and the boxes went live when I reduced it from 150% where I usually keep it to 100%. Everything worked and I was able to download my Fidelity transactions.
TT pops up an Intuit/TT login screen. Both the user name and password are greyed out. TT won't let me enter my TT user name and password before I can even get to a Fidelity account credentials screen. I'm using Edge11 as the default browser.
I can log into Intuit and also Fidelity but nothing can be downloaded, despite the message that it was successful.
