Cost segregation study - Form 3115 filed on Turbo tax

Hi,

I recently did a cost segregation study on my property and advised to file form 3115 and attach my study when I file 2024 tax. Can anyone advise if I can do so through Turbo tax and do I still have to mail my docs out to a separate mailing address or all will be transmitted through Turbo Tax.

Yes,  you can file Form 3115 with TurboTax Desktop but not with TurboTax Online.   Here is a link to download TurboTax Desktop. 

Form 3115 cannot be e-filed and requires 2 separate mailings:

1. Attach a copy of Form 3115 to your tax return

2.  File a copy of the signed Form 3115 (duplicate copy) with the IRS National Office.  Click here for a link to the IRS mailing address
