I am on turbotax premier desktop and get an error when attempting to upload my crytpo. Coinbase's export has more columns and info that leads to an error when importing so I deleted all the columns and renamed the relevant ones to what TurboTax says it needs (Currency Name, Purchase Date, Cost Basis, Date Sold, Proceeds). Still get an unsuccessful upload. I have 130 transactions which should be under the limit. I have verified it is a .csv file. I have even tried starting a new sheet, manually entering the headers and one line of test data and still get an unsuccessful. Other areas for help show a csv template to be used for crypto and the headers are completely different.

Have you investigated downloading Coinbase into TurboTax's Investor Center?
Click here to access the Investor Center.
Investor Center transactions may be reviewed and edited.
The output of Investor Center is a CSV file which will upload into either TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online.
Please advise if this is helpful.

Yes this ultimately was the easiest way to even pull the data from Coinbase. One item to note is the investor center export headers need to me modified for the TT import
It's too bad the .csv feature that I paid for, doesn't really work and there are no error messages, just "unsuccessful upload". And the best option is to bypass this feature :(
I'm having the same issue with TurboTax Home & Business 2023 for Windows Desktop. Also tried generating a new CSV file with just one asset type that only has 49 transactions and it still won't upload. (Investor Center doesn't help because it does not support my vendor.) Does the .CSV file import even work?
@jshowelljr I did eventually get it to work after many failures. I have another post on another thread that provides the details. If I can find it I will link to it. Perhaps if you search my login name you can find it.
Try this link to the better thread and good luck!! Solved: Re: Turbo Tax won't accept CSV file upload for Crypto Transactions (intuit.com)
