Each of the 2016 desktop editions include all the same forms, schedules and worksheets.  The Deluxe edition supports Schedule D and Form 8949.  The Deluxe program may recommend that you upgrade to Premier but it is not required.

No, every version of TurboTax Desktop (CD/Download product) includes all forms.  Premier offers more guidance.

TurboTax Online would require Premier.
