Is a patio a rental real estate property or a land improvement?

Hello all. I have a residential rental property that had a patio constructed last year. I am trying to figure out if this is classified as rental real estate (and depreciated over 27.5 years) or a land improvement asset (and depreciated over 15 years)? Thanks!

Patios and driveways are considered land improvements that are normally depreciated over 15 years.
