Incorrect calculation for expenses that occurred during rental period

I have a property that I started renting part way through 2023. It was my primary residence before that.

I have expenses that happened entirely while it was being rented. e.g. I got the gutters cleaned for the tenant.

The problem is tax Turbotax is pro-rating the expense based on the number of days it was rented. e.g. if I paid $200, it's only counting it as a $100 expense (not exactly, this is an illustration), based on the ration of days rented over the whole year.

This seems completely wrong. Is it a known issue? How can I make it treat the entire amount as a deductible expense?

Incorrect calculation for expenses that occurred during rental period

Ok, I figured it out by reading through this answer. My mistake was that I had entered the time it was my personal residence as Days of Personal Use, which is incorrect, as that happened before it was put in business. So in reality, I have Zero days of Personal Use, and it is correctly deducting the entire expense. Problem solved!
