I am a sole proprietor - I have a car for personal use but want to rent a car for my business for the next several months. Leasing one after that. What is deductible?

If you were to rent a car for business purposes, those expenses would be deductible as a Sole Proprietor. You would be able to take actual expenses such as the rental fees, gas etc. Leasing a car for work purposes would also follow the same guidelines for the deductions.
