If I own rental property in NC, a state the I am a NON-RESIDENT, and the net income from NC is negative, do I need to file a return for NC?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You will not need to use a "credit for taxes paid to another state" on your resident return unless you actually have a tax to pay in North Carolina. For more information you can use the link here: NC Filing Requirements
