I've received my investment form 1099 summary, but I have not sold anything yet, and in turn, not realized any capital gains/losses. Do I still need to submit Schedule D?

My 1099 shows '0' across the board for D. Turbotax Free Edition is saying it doesn't cover my situation and I need to upgrade to the Premier edition to submit Schedule D - is this true or is this TurboTax trying to cover most scenarios?

You report the information on the consolidated broker statement which will include the 1099-INT, 1099-DIV and the 1099-B (which only reports sales ... no sales = nothing to report).
