I need to report a cap gain. Form 8949 long-term F with no 1099B will not accept tax input and Sch D will only accept input from 8949.. When will form 8949 get updated

Did you go through the Investment Sales section and enter on the section for reporting the sale that the Sales Selection was Long-term did not receive 1099-B form?

Entered Stock (non-employee)?

Entered Description?

Entered Date acquired?

Entered Date sold?

On the following screen select None of these apply?

If you did, the Schedule D, Form 8949, Form 1099-B Worksheet and the Capital Asset Sales Worksheet would be created by the TurboTax program.

I called back the following day and had a tax expert walk me thru the process.  We did it a little differently, but it worked and I was able to complete my amendment for both federal and state.
