For your rental property's new roof, you should classify it under "Residential Rental Real Estate"* in TurboTax. This'll mean it is depreciated over the period of 27.5 years

Residential rental property. This class includes any real property that is a rental building or structure (including a mobile home) for which 80% or more of the gross rental income for the tax year is from dwelling units.

For more detailed guidance, you can refer to IRS article, which includes depreciating a new roof.
