I have K1 income from rental activity and Sch E losses from rental activity, but my losses do not appear to be offsetting my gains. Is there something I need to do?

When entering the rental activity K-1, what did you select at the screen Did you activity participate?

If you selected No, a rental loss may not offset other gains in the tax return.
