To delete rental property information in TurboTax Online:

  1. Select Tax Home in the left pane
  2. On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of Income & Expenses
  3. Select StartPick up where you left off or Review/Edit, as appropriate
  4. If you see Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E) and the property name directly below Your income and expenses, select Add/Edit to the right.  Otherwise, scroll down and select the dropdown to the right of Rentals, Royalties, and Farm, then select Revisit to the right of Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E)
  5. On the Your 2024 rentals and royalties summary page, select the trashcan to the right of the property
  6. Back on the Your 2024 rentals and royalties summary page, select Done

If the TurboTax Online navigation described above doesn't look like what you're experiencing, see the TurboTax Help article Why does the TurboTax navigation menu look different for me?.

Did you sell or otherwise dispose of the rental property in 2024 or before? If yes, then did you report said disposition of the property in the tax year you sold or otherwise disposed of it? Maybe you converted it back to personal use? This can potentially matter if you get audited on this in the future.
