I have a Charles Schwab statement showing a $3 short term realized gain that isn't reported to IRS (and no 1099-B is provided for it) but suggests I should capture this on form 8949.
I am a new Turbotax user and cannot find where to report this gain in Turbotax? The softward seems to only expect a 1099-B. Some prior answers suggested I add the data like I had a 1099-B and then check a box saying I don't have a 1099-B, but I cannot seem to find this branch in the screens. Please help.

It's not a box that you check. At the top of the screen for entering the 1099-B information it asks you to select the "sales section" from a drop-down list. Select "Short-term did not receive 1099-B form."

Thank you so much - that worked perfectly!!!
