How do I get Form 8888 to file electronically with my return to use my refund to buy Series I Savings Bonds?

In the File section of the program on Step 2 click on See other options.  Select Split my refund between multiple bank accounts or U.S. savings bonds and Continue

You can add Form 8888 - Allocation of Refund when you go through the screens to file your return.  Please follow these steps:

1. Click the File tab.
2. On the screen, How do you want your $XX federal refund, mark the circle for Direct Deposit to a bank account.
3. Go to the bottom of the screen and mark the box I would like to split my refund into more than one account.
4. On the screen, Tell Us What You Would Like to Do, mark the appropriate radio button,  to split your refund into more than one account, purchase savings bonds, or both.
5. Depending on your selection, you will see screens to Purchase Savings Bond, and/or Split your Refund into Multiple Accounts.
6. Enter the requested information and click Continue.
7. Form 8888 will be generated and transmit with your return.
8. You can then continue to file your return.
