If you received a 1099 from the Conservation Reserve Program, you will need to report that unless some of the income exclusions apply to you.
The CRP payments are entered on Schedule F, Part I. This can be found in the income section of TurboTax. The exclusions to reporting the income are listed on page 12 of Pub 225 in the middle and right column. You might want to see if the exclusions would apply to your situation. Pub 225
At this point, you cannot make any changes to your tax return until the IRS receives it or rejects the return. If it is rejected, then you can go in and make the addition of this income from the 2020 CRP. If the return is accepted, you will need to amend it. Here is a link How to amend
First, make sure you really need to amend and that your 2020 return was accepted in TurboTax Online or paper-filed through the mail. You can't amend a return that hasn't been filed yet.
Three weeks after mailing your amended return, you can start tracking it at the IRS Where's My Amended Return? tracking tool. Please allow at least 16 weeks for the IRS to process your amended return.
Processing times for amended state returns vary from state to state. If it's been more than 12 weeks since you mailed your amended state return, and you haven't heard anything, we suggest you contact your state tax agency.
