How can I enter an adjustment with code on form 8949 for a stock sale? IRS requires this for QSB, but I do not see how do do this, it only gives me fields for 1099-B.

Enter the basic 1099-B information, click Continue, and proceed through the screens. A few screens later you will come to a screen that says "Select any less common adjustments that apply." On that screen, check the box that says "The gain (or loss) from this sale is eligible for special treatment because it's from qualified small business stock . . ." Click Continue. The next few screens will ask you some questions about the QSB stock that you sold. It will then put the appropriate code on Form 8949.
