Does rental assistance income go on Schedule E

I own a rental property and several of my renters received rental assistance due to the pandemic and I received a form 1099 for these. Should this go into Schedule E or just entered as misc income?

If you are receiving these payments as rental income, not from your tenants but from an agency, this is still rental income to you. Include it on Schedule E.

When it comes to rental property, any income received from any source for any reason as it pertains to the rental, is rental income. Period.
