Do l have to claim the interest on my Certificates of Deposit if they have not been cashed out yet?

Yes! I need an answer!! The CDs are just sitting in the bank. I've earned interest in the account, but haven't utilized it.

Yes. Interest earned on CDs is taxable, even if they are re-invested or not withdrawn.
