Capital Account not adding correctly in TT Basic 2019

See the entries below and the ending capital account should be $41475 NOT $41479. Had same problems with several LLCs

why bother. this info goes nowhere and Turbocrap doesn't use it for anything . it is not transmitted as part of the return. I checked your problem on my desktop deluxe for windows. same problem. evidently the programmers are spaced out since they don't know how to write apps that add/subtract correctly. this is a minor inconvenience. wonder what other math errors TT is making that could cost taxpayer significant $ or result in significant underpayment of tax that the IRS will catch. Maybe they lost a lot of programmers to corvid-19.

Interesting you should say that as IRS challenged the capital gain in my 2018 TT prepared return, baffling my CPA. Am still waiting for IRS to say exactly where they say I (=TT) is wrong so I can AGREE/DISAGREE. Am out $2500 over the delta at the moment. I think I will make another post on this different topic.
