1099-B

Howdy yall, I received a 1099-B after already filing my taxes. It says on the form "Basis reported to the IRS". Do I need to file an amendment for this? (First time filing married/joint. I have never had to deal with stock stuff before)

IF you sold the stock at a gain, you may have taxable income to report. I suggest you prepare an amended return to see if you owe taxes and if so, you should file the amended return.

You enter investment sales in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then Investments Sales, then Stocks, cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, etc... .

1099-B

So I started to file an amendment. Got through the part where it was telling me to input the gains and finished the federal part. Do I need to amend state as well? because when I go to do that, it starts asking me about property I've sold? I haven't sold any property. So that part has confused the crap out of me and the tool does not give me the option to tell it "no I did not sell any property". It did not ask me this until I amended the federal using the 1099-B.
