1099-MISC income is generally not considered self-employment income if it is not earned through a regular, profit-seeking trade or business. Instead, it is reported as "Other Income" (Box 3) and is not subject to self-employment tax. Common examples include rent, prizes, awards, hobby income, or one-time sporadic payments.
When entering your 1099-Misc in TurboTax, you will need to answer the questions to let TurboTax know that the 1099-Misc meets the criteria above so it will not treat it as Self-employment income.

You need to get a corrected W-2 from your employer.
The extension gives you until October 15, 2026, to file your taxes without getting a failure to file penalty. You don't get extra time to pay your taxes so you must pay any taxes that you may have that are due by April 15, 2026, so you won't be assessed the failure to pay penalty.
Refer to the TurboTax Help article How do I file an IRS tax extension? for instructions. If you need to file a state extension, review the article How do I file an extension for my personal state taxes?

That's ok... each year is looked at separately, so you can still file for 2025.

You don't need to enter any medicaid or snap info on your return. TurboTax will calculate any earned income credit you may qualify for.

Right, it won't work on Windows 10. But you can switch to the Online version. Turbo Tax Desktop to Online Migration Offer https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/marketing/ty25-ttd-direct-offer/L0aUgksJd_US_en_US "Offer includes one Tax Year 2025 federal return and one state tax return filed using the TurboTax Online" If you used the Desktop program before you may notice several differences and not like the online version. It has less features and no Forms Mode. The Online versions don't have all the same forms so you might have to upgrade to a higher Online version. You can only do 1 return per account. Your return is only saved online so be sure to save both the .tax2025 data file and the pdf file to your computer when you are done. In case you need to amend in the future or if you need a copy to get a loan or something. You might not be able to access your online return when you need a copy.

Please clarify I can submit same state twice.
The IRS presumes that income reported on an IRS 1099-NEC to be self-employment income subject to both income tax and self-employment tax.

Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
Click on the drop down arrow to the right of Self-employment.

Establish the self-employment activity and report the income and expense.
Within the self-employment activity, add the income reported on the IRS form 1099-NEC by following these steps:
At the screen Here's your info, select Add income for this work.

When you file your tax return, you will see a screen that says How would you like to pay your federal taxes? The third option is Request an IRS payment plan. You will select that option and Continue. Your next screen will instruct you on setting up the payment plan. You will then go to the IRS site to set up the payment plan.
If the option becomes available, you can submit Form 9465 through TurboTax. See this link for more details. Can I set up a payment plan for my taxes?
If you are unable to set up a payment plan for your balance due on your Federal tax return when filing your tax return, you can set up a payment plan directly through the IRS Online Payment Agreement tool.
You can file your tax return through TurboTax, and pay by check. And request an IRS payment plan using Form 9465 to pay your tax debt over time if you file before the system is available.

I believe you are referring to the $6,000 deduction for seniors. This deduction will automatically be added to your return if you qualify based on age and income. You must have a valid Social Security number. The deduction phases out for taxpayers with modified adjusted gross income over $75,000; $150,000 for joint filers. If you qualify, you will see the deduction on line 13b of your Form 1040.
