On the screen "Let's enter [name]'s HSA contributions", the contributions made through your employer (code W in box 12 on the W-2) are carried directly from the W-2 and cannot be changed here. If the number should not be zero, you will have to go back to the W-2 and correct it there.   The only HSA contributions you should enter on this screen (in the second line) are "personal" contributions, that is contributions NOT made through your employer.   If you have an exceptional case wherein the employer made contributions that were not listed with code W in box 12, come back and tell us.

Hi--my issue was a little different (related to muni bonds) but some thoughts.  First, you mentioned Box 10 and a bond premium--are you sure that's not Box 11?  (Box 11 is Bond Premium; Box 10 is discount).   If it's Box 11, premium, I believe the premium deduction for the yer cannot exceed the interest you received from that specific bond (you can't reduce interest below zero).      Two suggestions on how you might fix--you could just reduce the amount in Box 11 so that it matches the Box 1 interest income.  Given the amounts involved that may be easiest way.      Suggestion #2 would be do to the same (reduce the adjustment in Box 11 so that it doesn't exceed the interest income) and then report the "excess" on Schedule A (if you itemize deductions).  So if interest income was $25 the remainder would be $15 ($40 less the $25) and you could then go to deductions&credits, other deductions; other deductible expenses and enter something like "excess bond premium" of $15.      Hope this helps.

You always want to file with the address where you currently live so you can receive a letter if there are any questions. The post office will not forward those letters.    When you move, you can file a return with the new address or fill out Form 8822, Change of Address. You filed with the new, so you are good.
Yes trying to get last years info to transfer over to 2025.  I have desktop software for Windows.   I used 2024 Desktop software and it should be on my computer.
They won't admit to the error thus no guarantee and no refund of Turbo Tax fees

For more than 20 years I depended on Turbo Tax, but apparently they have lost their way and refuse to admit to the glitch.

At this time, TT desktop does not support e-filing a federal 1040-X. I'm in the same boat as OP, and tried to do this (from TT desktop) and can't -- even though the IRS says this is now allowed (About Form 1040-X, Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return, as updated April 7 2026). It's possible that this guidance is very new (Google says since April 2nd), so hopefully there will be an update to TT desktop soon to support this.

For "income received while residing outside DC." -enter your income earned before moving to DC For "Double-Taxed Income and Tax Paid to Virginia on Double-Taxed Income" - you should not have any double taxed income since you have wages earned in VA and wages earned in DC. Thanks to the move, your taxes are actually easier.   For VA, you will only report the income earned while living there. For DC, you will only report the income earned while living there. Together, this will equal all of your income for the year.
Truth. Other companies have bug reporting mechanisms.   But note that responses to my post are all "they don't care". :( Bah.
The same thing happened to me.  Turbo Tax refuses to admit to the glitch.

Code TT in box 12 of the W-2 form (starting in 2026) represents qualified overtime reported to the employer. Your employer used codes that don't apply to 2025 which is the reason why you don't see the cod TT in the dropdown.  Skip inputting that number in box 12 and report your overtime in the follow-up screens that appear after you finish entering your W-2.   In TurboTax Online, this is how you enter the qualified overtime premium: After entering your form W-2, you'll see a screen titled Let's Check for Other Situations Put a checkmark on Overtime and click Continue Follow the TurboTax questionnaire to enter your qualified overtime premium This deduction will transfer to Schedule 1-A of your form 1040, with that amount flowing to line 13b of your form 1040.   Refer to the TurboTax article How do I enter overtime pay in TurboTax Online? and  I Worked Overtime This Year — My W-2 Pay Doesn’t Show it. for detailed instructions to enter your overtime.   For additional information, refer to the TurboTax article No Tax on Overtime Explained: Qualified Overtime Deduction Rules for 2025 and  IRS guidance for individuals who received tips or overtime during tax year 2025.
