Depending on what city the taxes should have been paid to, you may see an option when you prepare your state tax return in TurboTax to indicate that you lived or worked in that city. If so, you can prepare that tax return and pay the tax due when you file your state tax return in TurboTax. If you don't see an option in TurboTax to do that, you can look up the city revenue department online and likely find a tax return you can prepare and mail with a tax payment.
For the city the taxes were taken out from, you will need to find their revenue department online and download their city tax return so you can prepare it to get a refund of the taxes paid to them.

Yes, since you're claiming no deductions for your Spouse (someone else claims them), this does not affect your return if Married Filing Separately.

I having strange import problems haven't nailed the problem down yet. Looks like in imported Schwab pretty good but then said review. I clicked review and it wanted to import again. So I didn't saved closed opened and then clicked review and it went to the review screen. Then it said to review a redundant entry with 0 in it but I only imported once. It seems to be really losing its mind. Never had issues like this before.

Have you searched your computer for other tax files from last year? The file extension would be *.tax2024. It's possible you're choosing an older version than the return you actually filed.
Also, have you opened the 2024 return using TurboTax Business 2024 to confirm two partners exist on the return you are using to transfer to tax year 2025?
If you can't find a 2024 return that matches your PDFs from last year, your only option is to revise the 2024 return to match what was filed. Then import the revised/corrected 2024 return into TurboTax Business 2025. This will avoid reporting a change in ownership for the current tax year.

I'm still having the same problem with TurboTax not printing the Utah TC-40 form, only blank pages. I tried both Edge and Chrome. I can see the populated form, just not print it. This defect makes me nervous about e-filing as well as blank data will not fulfill my tax filing obligations. I may just move to other methods, such as hand filling out the state forms with the data. I'm shocked with this defect in TurboTax and have reported it.

I have looked at other discussion forums and haven't been able to find the answer to this question. There is very clearly a section in the federal return to input estimated federal taxes paid during the year, however, no where does it ask if there were any estimated taxes that you paid to the state of Massachusetts. It's unclear to me where to input this information.

Thank you. Creating a second "dummy" 1099-DIV does work, but it also results in two lines on the federal Schedule B, neither of which matches the amount on the 1099-DIV that the IRS received. (The total is correct, of course.) Does that not increase the risk of getting flagged?

As the car was nine years old at the time you bought it, it was heavily depreciated at the time you bought it and likely didn't lose a lot of value from the date you bought it in 2022 to when your first started to use it for business in March of 2023. Because of this, you could just use the purchase price of the vehicle when you bought it as the fair market value for when you first started using it for business.

Your taxable social security benefits cannot be more than 85% of your total social security benefits. The total social security benefits from 2024 are listed on line B of the worksheet. Line D list the taxable benefits associated with the amount on line B. You must have $0 in line B, so 85% of $0 equals $0. You need to list an amount in box B for the social security benefits from 2024.

Is my face red! Sorry everyone. After doing more digging I determined that the supposed error is not an error at all. The difference I was seeing was due to how, on one of the 1099Rs, the Simplified Method calculates Line 14, Taxable Pension for the year. That amount is slightly smaller than the amount appearing in Box 2a of the 1099R. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.
