In order to claim the home office deduction, you must show a profit on the business. The home office deduction can reduce the income of the business to zero but not below. If you no longer ran the business in 2025 and have a $0 profit, than the home office deduction is no longer applicable and cannot be taken on your return. You can use the Tax Tools on the left to find and delete Form 8829 to remove the home office deduction from your return.

It depends. If you're filing your first 1040, then no, You can't file 1040X, amended return with your original 1040. If you are filing a second 1040 to correct an error on the original 2040, then yes, Form 1040X will need to be attached to the second 1040 to reflect the corrected amounts.
1040X isn't yet available for Efile in TurboTax. It is expected to be available mid-late February. Here's a link that gives more information on how to amend your tax return:

No, the answer isn't incorrect and you did not miss anything. Your daughter qualifies as a dependent based on the information you provided. Usually, the reason for this issue is something omitted in the interview about the dependent.
Revisit the entry in the "My Info, Your household" section. Make sure all the interview screens have been completed accurately:
Navigate to My Info, Your household, select your daughter and revisit.
Choose "My child", continue and be sure her name, date of birth and proper citizenship is complete.
Continue, and answer the question about living arrangements and parents.
Continue, and answer any less common situations. Here, make sure "was a full-time student in 2025" is checked.
Lastly, enter the child's SSN and be sure that "Not valid for employment is printed..." is NOT checked.

I have been using TurboTax for over 15 years. Every year the fees increase but this...this is an all new low for TTx. I was forced to accept "Expert Services" because I checked the box associated with tuition payments. Suddenly, TTx is unable to calculate taxes with education expenses? I tried to back out, nope. I logged out and back in, nope - unable to change my product (sold for the low bargain price of $179.) I am beyond irritated and despite the convenience of autopop. from last year, I will be using another service. Bad move TTx, I'm taking my business--and all 6 of my adult children's taxes--elsewhere. That's 7 customers gone for the low, bargain price of $179.

According to other answers listed here, for 2025 if my daughter lived with me, is a full-time student at college, and under the age of 24, the income limit for earnings don't apply. My daughter was full-time, was 22 on Dec 31, lived with me all year, and did not pay for more than half the cost of her support. But she earned more than $5,200. Turbo Tax is saying she doesn't qualify as my dependent. Was the other answer incorrect? Or did I miss something when I read the answer?

You would likely not want to input repairs and maintenance on tractors and other equipment into this category, because there is an outstanding question of whether the cost of the repairs should be added to the tax cost of the equipment, and depreciated over the life of the asset (in years) as depreciation expense. This is assuming that you are depreciating the tractors and other equipment as fixed assets. If the repairs and maintenance were less than $2,500 for each asset, then they likely qualify for the de minimis safe harbor treatment to be expensed in full immediately. If the repairs and maintenance on the assets was above this threshold, then they may need to be capitalized and depreciated as improvements. Either way, make sure you are answering questions about the cost of fixed asset business equipment (such as tractors) in the Business Assets and Depreciation interview screens.
